   Glass slippers, pumpkins and a little Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo will be brought to the stage as Act I & Company performs Cinderella by Rodgers and Hammerstein for the annual fall musical.

    Shannon Seaton will direct the musical, aided by Syntha Pierce, Torrie Polk and John Callison. Cinderella is set to be performed November 5, 10, 12, 17, 18, and 19. Admission is $5 and the show is approximately two hours long.

    The cast includes: Courtney Hudgins in the title role, Rhett Self as the prince, K’leigh Rhodes as the stepmother, Sydney Cox and Candyce Dobbs as the stepsisters, Jill Brandon as the fairy godmother, Kevin McKenzie as the king, Madison Gould as the queen, Mitchell Assaf as the herald, Neal Warnick as the town crier, Josh Hardin as the steward and Hannah Meason as the chef.

    The company includes 30 students. Practices began last week. They are every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

   “I’m so excited! I’ve wanted to do this musical for so long, and the group of people I get to work with are amazing,” Courtney Hudgins said.

    Hudgins is also, “crazy excited to be Cinderella.” She’s been “dreaming of this role” since she was seven.
